America’s Battle with Crystal Meth

The United States and crystal meth have had a long, painful relationship. Though meth in its various forms has been around for over a century, the deadly drug didn’t gain commercial popularity until various Mexican drug cartels set up numerous laboratories in California during the early 1990s.

From San Diego to Laguna Beach, the state’s involvement in meth production and abuse quickly spread to the rest of the North American state. Currently, the drug continues to wreak havoc on her victims, both inside and outside of rehab.
