Dual Diagnosis: Facts & Figures

More than half of all individuals living with an addiction also have a co-occurring mental disorder. Dual diagnosis at drug rehab centers in the Los Angeles area are most commonly seen with those suffering from depression, anxiety, personality disorders and schizophrenia.

While it’s not always clear if the addiction or the mental illness came first, the treatment of both is necessary for a full recovery. Currently, less than 10 percent of those suffering from co-occurring disorders receive proper treatment.

Letting co-occurring disorders go untreated can lead to serious consequences. Seek the treatment you and your loved ones deserve.
