Miramar Recovery is a VA Community Care Network (CCN) provider of drug and alcohol recovery treatment programs for veterans. Developed by the MITRE Corporation for the Department of Veterans Affairs, CCN allows Veterans to seek treatment from providers in their community.
We have experience working with the VA and can help fill in the gaps when treatment options are full or limited. Give us a call to learn more about our residential treatment options or to arrange accommodations.
Founded and led by special operations veteran Tom Sauer, Miramar Recovery understands our veterans’ needs and the needs of the people who provide them with health and wellness services.
Our supportive services assist eligible veterans who can’t access quality care from a VA facility. We can speak to you directly and make the necessary arrangements to help our fellow veterans receive alcohol or drug abuse treatment.
Our services include:
Our veteran patients receive premium care at Miramar Recovery, starting with the way we communicate with them. Sometimes the only way to reach a veteran is through another veteran. Our very own Tom Sauer is available and willing to speak directly to veterans in need of addiction treatment and care. Tom is the brother who will get in his car or hop on a plane to help fellow veterans feel seen, heard, and cared for so that they can receive the treatment they need.
To help lighten your workload and ease the transition, we handle logistics and travel arrangements to our treatment centers. Travel arrangements include planning before, during and after treatment. We also assist with picking them up at the airport and driving our veterans to where they need to go. Our treatment programs require zero out-of-pocket costs to our veterans so that they can focus on healing and recovery.
Miramar is a dual-diagnosis treatment center, and we can provide our veterans with addiction treatment and specialized therapy. Our Southern California treatment centers can accommodate 30, 60, 90, and 120-day residential substance use disorder stays with spiritual and emotional support services for a full recovery.
If required, we provide addiction detox treatments for all veterans upon arrival. Please note, detox does not require separate authorization and is part of the treatment program.
Specialized Therapy Services
We understand that addiction recovery is just the first step for veterans. They also need additional support for a successful transition to civilian work and life.
Along with our treatment programs, we provide specialized therapy programs to help treat:
